Course Objectives The aim of this course is to learn definition, use, care and properties of contact lenses.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe the properties of gas permeable hard contact lens and soft contact lens for long term usage.
  • Explain structure of contact lenses.
  • Describe the points to consider when using contact lenses.
  • Count the areas of usage of contact lenses.
  • Perform cleaning and care of contact lenses.
  • Explain allergy and side effects of contact lenses.
